Premium brogue derby boot, featuring a Goodyear welted 'Victory' rubber sole for greater longevity/grip and a bellowed tongue to help prevent water penetrating the lace area. Bedale uses the 'Pennine' last shape, and is available in a 'G' fitting for a generous wide fit. These men's shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering, Northamptonshire and handmade in Loake's high-grade factory in England.
The Last: Pennine.
Pennine is another Country last shape, but in G width, which is a wide fitting. It is a roomy last, designed to give the wearer extra space within the shoe. If you normally take a medium width in Loake shoes, you may find a half size reduction to be necessary in order to obtain the right fit.
The Collection: Loake 1880 Country.
Loake's collection of rugged English Made country styled Shoes & Boots combine all of the traditional Loake craftsmanship that you would expect along with storm welts and robust rubber soles, designed for wearing outside of the city. No compromises have been made in producing this versatile and attractive collection, which are all made in Loake's Northamptonshire factory, located in the heart of England.
